I often find it more insightful to see inside someone's sketchbooks than to be shown polished art; perhaps it's the evidence of a thought process taking place, the roughness and naivety that comes with sketching things out as they take shape in the mind, or maybe it's the fascination of seeing what happens when we draw as if no one is watching.
